Joseph A Martelliti, a 41 year old man, was arrested for driving under the influence after an incidence on a national interstate. He faces DUI charges for the accident that he caused after deciding to drive drunk after a long night of drinking. Breath tests confirmed that Martelliti’s blood alcohol was over the legal limit.
While driving his automobile down the interstate, Martelliti lost control of his car and swerved into another lane of traffic, striking a car driven by Sharif Ouran. Ouran’s car was sent spinning off the interstate and eventually landed in a nearby embankment. No one was injured in the accident.
Martelliti was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was processed at a DUI center and released later that day.
