A driving instructor pleaded not guilty last week to charges of DUI during a driving lesson in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Daniel Winsky, of Salem, was arraigned on DUI charges last Thursday.
According to court documents, Winsky, who was not actually behind the wheel, had a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .233 when police pulled him over in December - nearly three times the legal limit of .08.
Students who were in Winsky’s car said that the instructor did not seem drunk, but was sipping at a container of cough medicine.
